The Historic Walk of Fear

http://ustre.am/Iylh

Every year we invite immigrants into our country with the illusion of their absolute chance at freedom. We here, are still not free. We must stand for equality and justice for us all. There is a thin line between love and hate and we must work hard to make sure that that line is not crossed. Freedom for all because racism does exist! We will fight back!

The Govt Works for US! Democracy NOW!

So... you should really pay attention to this. I work for the ACLU. I picket, boycott, rally, and all that. We have to be vocal and we have to be mobile! It is a time to make sure the government knows they are not a separate entity. They work FOR US! It is a serious time in the United States and around the world and we have to be a "force to be reckoned with". Being in MS it is hard to grasp the amount of power it will take to overthrow a large power. The rich will either share the wealth or be overthrown. This is not all about one religion... this is the land of the free! The economy is not the only issue. Our freedom is an issue, our pride is the issue, our bodies are an issue, our children are an issue. Think about the future. We are the present. The future is coming...

Woman Playing LSU Football? I Can Digg It!

Nyeah! As we approach a time of female revolution this story serves as a reminder that we are not equal. As we struggle everyday to just get equal opportunity, having the support of women everywhere is important when taking such a tough feat. An all male football team is acceptable and expected right? Well, not if there's a woman that wants to play! Lets see how this works out! We are right behind you! http://www.wapt.com/sports/30612440/detail.html

WTF is BlackOut.

The BlackOut is a political statement. I will simply wear black everyday of 2012... Until my people are enlightened, i will be in the dark.

I feel there is a time to take responsibility for ourselves and our communities. I am now 30 years and I can't even imagine sitting back making excuses anymore. Before, it was easy to point and place blame on others but now we are the adults, the responsible party. The future of the little ones today is in our hands. We have to think about them and how we will be remembered.

It is hard for many people to stand up for what they believe in. It is even harder for the ones who don't believe in anything to support something. I have come across many people throughout the years that have had a nonchalant attitude about the troubles of the world. They don't understand the web of consequences that they are involved in. How the trickle has stopped at the doors of the hoods, ghettos, and even suburban neighborhoods. They underestimate their own work and judge themselves on the minimum of their abilities. We are worth so much more.

It is possible for us to be free from the thoughts of jealousy, the thoughts of insecurity, and the thoughts of betrayal. We have the abilities to remove the cloak from our eyes and to open our hearts. Everyone is different. We were not brought into this world in a mold so it is irresponsible and inconsiderate to believe that we will someday all be cookie cutter images of... well, anyone. Even identical twins have differences.

There social and economic barriers. Not even including sexual, sexuality, and race inequalities. All of these prejudices are an illusion that could be lived or let go. People don't know how evil they are until they realize how prejudice they are. People will lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, and every thing else to get something they want. And what do they want it for... just to show it off. I guess you can show it off since you can buy it huh... what's the song say "if it's mine, I spend it".

We have to take responsibility for our decisions. We have to teach, lead, and comfort our children. We have to see the illusion and recognize the things that are only here to divide us. Everyone deserves a chance to be happy. No one knows whats right and wrong and the Constitution guarantees us freedom of religion and that means we have the freedom not to choose one at all. So who is to judge. If you believe it is God, Jesus, or anyone else then you should know that you are not to judge so let my people go!

That is how i feel.

Let the homosexuals go!
Let the battered women who need abortions go!
Let the innocent on death row go!
Let the women go!
Let the hatred go!

We are all here to love and be loved and until we are all free... I can never be at peace. I will find comfort in the darkness I envelop myself in...

RepubliCants: Suppression & Censorship

So there are thousands, if not millions of ways to insult, impair, and discriminate. I think the republicans are trying to tap on them all. From voter rights violations legalized to censorship of the internet! The World Wide Web, are you serious??? That shyt cray! And did you hear Rev. Jesse Peterson talking about blacks should be put back on plantations to learn work ethic! WTH so you're racist too! Man! Duh, church runs neck and neck with all of your prejudices... how you think they keep you in there, paying your money. You have to think you deserve something for just being there. Right? I mean you are better than someone and the church makes you feel better? If thats not what you think then we have to stop calling these people spreading these lies and negative beliefs Reverend.

Reverend my ass. A man of God will not stand for or teach hate or prejudices. People dont care what other people are doing to the minds of the weak. The meek and mild go to the church looking for a safe place to find encouragement and faith, not a place to feel worse or worse about things than before you walked in.

Now we have mental boundaries why not start for legal boundaries right... like voter rights. Of course our people fought for the right to vote but that was only important in the 60s huh... wtf we have to put voting back into the normal everyday vocab of our people because they are taking the rights out of your hands more and more each day. 1st they trap us into felons and take away felon rights, they punish the old who dont have proper documentation of birth, and THEN they target people who have moved from their homes and changed their addresses. Come on now... all of these loops? We can and will do without the circus act.

Our rights and freedoms are important people. The sad thing is that some will not know unless it becomes too late.

Drugs Race Sexuality

Though there are a billion things to worry about our nations political leaders are more interested in the economy of our people, making sure America as a whole eats, they would rather keep all of the power. When I say power I mean money. They keep it and deter our minds with things that will never ever not be a problem.

Nature.

Now drugs... Are u kidding me. Marijuana itself is natural. Ok, we allow them to illegalize a plant. How crazy is that, really. They have plants way more dangerous out there like I'm sure u can't smoke pine straw. But if people started smoking it and dying from it, it wouldn't be illegal, but if it made them high... Ah haaa I bet it would be so illegal cause they can't control the pine! Should we not stand up for something that is prescribed for illness but at the same time illegal to the public. I mean really. State by state though? Are we different humans or just a weaker breed?

The never ending race war. Is there a race war? In reality everyone should know by now that we were once all black and brown people so what is the real deal? Once again they use nature to divide us. I, myself, have been guilty of passing judgement on a race because of the sins of their past. Judged whites based on their history and their culture. The Darwin culture is what I call it. Now all races have adapted to the Jim Crow massah mentality. We are all enslaved in our thoughts of superiority. Knowing we are but merely parasitic members of the ape family with the understanding of advanced technology. Ne thing we fail to realize is that along with our technological knowledge, equally there is a natural ignorance. Ignorant to the fact that we are all one race, just different colors, cultures, and homelands. White black yellow red brown... we are all the same but we don't think that way because we are conditioned that way. Listen up.

Lastly in todays blog is sexuality. How in the hell can you feel its ok to choose who can love who. Who can sleep with who. Who can hold hands, marry, raise offspring, pay bills, etc together! It is nature to attract. It can't be forced but it can be hindered. As a child I was always attracted to pretty, sexy, beautiful, feminine... That was my natural selection. As a teen nothing changed but my feelings for women. I noticed that they were more attractive to me. More suitable for my needs, more understanding of my thoughts and more interesting to my mind. I wanted that void in my heart to be filled by the same sex. To be shunned by my people for loving someone for being loved by someone is the worst feeling in the world. It's like being murdered or betrayed every day... Every second... By your closest friends and your family. I hate that it is this way and I pray that people wake up and learn to embrace us all as one.

With equality we will gain more knowledge, more love, more overstanding, and more justice.

O my my how things have NOT changed!

So, we have some major issues that the government are stressing. But why are they not hitting the real major issues like TOLERANCE, EQUALITY, and JUSTICE! Thats what we want right? Yeah, thats what I want them to work on. I need to know why blacks and latinos and other people of color are still being stereotyped? I want to know why, as a nation, we are not standing up for the equal rights and civil liberties of our people?

America is the so called "melting pot" so why do we allow people to force their beliefs and prejudices on us. So what gays are getting married... you let them pay taxes. So what people are getting abortions... you don't take care of the needy children we now have. So what people aren't all Christians and Catholics... you let Christians beat us, condemn us, and judge us too long. You let Catholics rape their holy women and molest young men for too long. Why are these not the issues?

How many of you feel as though people have lost sight of what's reality?

Just this past week I have heard things come out of people's mouths that took me back in time at least 40 years... how can they say these things. You know who these people are who constantly try to oppress and take away freedoms. They govern your states, they lead your congregations, they live in your home. These people are the reason there are young children learning hate at a young age. They are the reasons people with black skin are immediately profiled no matter how well-dressed, well-educated, or well-spoken, as they say. They are the reason there are such terms as well-dressed. Why should how one dresses even be an issue in a free America.

As the years go by we are becoming less and less free... well, my people have never been completely free here and that in itself is a slap in the face for our government. Since the civil rights movement in the 60's, we have seen the hatred in Americans like never before. Our country came to a cross roads when we elected our 1st black president and now as they say "the shyt has hit the fan!"

Radical conservatives have lost their minds. From denying global warming and evolution to trying to push all who support homosexual rights and science to the left wing calling us extremists. Since when is intelligence extreme? Since we let rich numb skulls into the cockpit of our country.

One day there will be an enlightenment. One day there will be freedom. One day we will look around and turn our backs on racism, intolerance, and ignorance because we can not be the land of the free as long as we accept these things.

Slavery in our Schools!

Ok, so when we (black people) said we want to put our history into the curriculum I don't think, well, I know we didn't mean "if a slave gets 2 whippings per day, how many does he get in a week!?" This is outrageous! This is what happened in a Georgia ELEMENTARY just this past week! How would you feel if your elementary child brought this home for homework. They said it's an effort to combine social studies and math.

There are so many other ways to do this!

Ok, so what I am trying to figure out is who had this idea, why they even thought it was remotely appropriate, and who in hell cleared this. This is very insensitive to our struggles as black people and it also shows how much they don't respect it! Are you trying to make my child comfortable with slavery? I mean, you want him to think that this was ok for them to get beat... let's not make questions about the freedom of them but instead their punishments? What's the social studies lesson in this? Whip slaves!

I am outraged and if you are not then you are part of the reason this is acceptable! People have to be aware of the things these schools are teaching our children. Our children are the future and if they are betting on them to enslave and be masters or worse, its up to us, the parents, of this generation to moderate the influence of these types of teachings. If my child were to bring this home I don't know what I'd do! My 1st response would be to go up to the school and speak directly to this teacher!

They are asking "How could something like this happen... how? What do you mean how! Because we care more about money and material things than what our kids are learning! Because we have given these borderline racists a hall pass into our children's lives by acting like it doesn't exist! We turn our cheeks until we're left with situations like this that got in "under the radar" because someone was trying to say something... you know they knew this was not appropriate. Thats all I can say, these are teachers for God's sake and you think we can just let them get away with this? Judgement call time! FIRED! That's what should happen! These teachers have to be held responsible and no, its not a minor violation, it's a damned BIG DEAL!

Let me know what you think...

I beg your pardon?

So I know you've heard of governor Barbour pardoning another woman killer.

Do you remember the Scott sisters? Sentenced to life over $11! He wouldn't pardon them knowing that was an insane judgement against them. I don't understand at all. I mean I could sit back and not put one and one together or I could open my damn eyes...

I beg your pardon I guess "we" have to say but that doesn't work either. I'm thinkin I'm the wrong color or got the wrong private parts...

Would u sat its fair to say he's racist? Or are these the acts of a sexist pig? Ok, you're right he's both! This is yet another insane action taking place under our noses and this craziness has to stop! We are coming to a time where the color of our skin matters less and less but there are some still accustomed to the "old" south and its white bred traditions.

Now that it has been scientifically proven that we all originated from Africa, why are we still allowing such ignorance. Did you know we were all black at first? Please feel free to look up the "origin of man". With this new enlightenment I have based my theory of "white man" on the climate and conditions hit people had to endure to survive.

What I mean by this is, white man came from hue'd man. This happened during the time of the Ice Age when part of our native family traveled north toward todays European areas. During the cold weather the sun wasn't enough to heat the thick ice that covered the surface of the earth. In this time wild animals threatened their survival. Fire was their heat but also their enemy, attracting predators... Think about saber tooth!

Just think of the mentality one must evolve to survive... Darwin at its purest. Little resources, hunting in harsh conditions, fishing frozen waters, and then protecting their food and families.

They have a mentality... A survivor mentality, a protect our own mentality, a stay at the top of the food chain mentality... Sculpted by Willie lynch.

Land of the Well Dressed and Suppressed?

When i think republic i think of tight suits, ties, and a lotta fake smiling. Is this the look America wants? Do we want to be the land of the free or the land of the well dressed and suppressed! Throughout the years i have noticed that Americans are trying to put on this front like we are perfect people! This last Presidential election proved that we want to break free from that arrogant money machine look and be a more inviting, equality driven place. Many people have fought for our civil liberties and damn near begged to just be treated as human beings. From the Indians to the Blacks and now homosexuals, people have been picked on and pushed aside under the umbrella of God or Jesus or Mary or Allah... in actuality God would not justify the wrong doing of any people! There is no separation of church and state and they know it!

Why does the governing body of America choose to create a fake life for us. Life is not about big houses, big business, massive vehicles, and easy living so why are those the only people we allow to represent us? We need to be free, we need to have our own land, our own rights, our own choices. Do you think the republic will give us that? Do you think they will give us our liberty and are you brave enough to fight till the death for our freedom?

Every day we are faced with the challenges of life. Me, being a black, female, homosexual, entertainer (with locs), my life is constant closed doors. Do we really want to make more boundaries, more stereotypes, more obstacles for the people? Do we want some fake as robot leading us? Do we want our people looking like the opening of Weeds "all look just the same"? We are not the same! We are all perfectly different and we need that! We need nature. We need freedom. We need to feel different and free. We need to be able to do hard work and get big money. We need to be able to work long hours and get a vacation. We need to be able to raise our kids in a society that doesn't judge them on the brand of clothes they wear.

All I am saying is do we want a democracy or a republic cause the republic trying to put us in chains!

Starting A New Year

Many people think that 2012 will be the end of mankind...
Ok, so that's not so bad for Earth tho is it?
I mean... no smog, no thousands of tons of human waste being pumped in, buried, burned, or just tossed out.
No humanity means what... homeostasis?
Thats pretty fukked up that we are the cause of the decline in healthy living. We can only blame ourselves.
Its easy to point fingers at others but I mean, if we don't stop them from doing these wasteful things, aren't we as much at fault?

There are so many problems but there are too many people saying "well, we're gonna have problems". That's just not true.
We don't have to accept people ruining our environment.
We don't have to accept people forcing us into minimum wage jobs when in fact we are worth far more.
We don't accept people killing people (even when it's an eye for an eye) <= that's not the law of nature.
We don't accept people driving under the influence of alcohol... DUI's will ruin their whole life.

It's the things that we do accept.

We accept people having the freedom of speech, even if the speech is damaging to the other party.
We accept people using people to staff their companies and after months, even years, of hard work let them deny them unemployment benefits after they are fired "at will".
We accept a drug dealer getting 60 yrs and a child molester getting 4.
We accept people placing judgement on people because of their choice in clothes, the color of their skin, their sexuality, and other things that we don't even have a right to judge.
We allow religions to take over and each religion is firmly against the worship of... RELIGIONS!
We allow ourselves to actually "believe the hype"... life is real. How can you just know you're being fake and they are being fake!

The only thing we can do with sound mind is to realize we must merely GET REAL. I mean there is no way around it... being ourselves is the 1st step to understanding and overcoming.
